The Garden Box Store realizes that not all garden boxes should be "box shaped." That's why The Garden Box Store offers modular garden box kits as well as its standard-size kits. Modular kits allow you to make a custom box without paying the "custom" price.

Creating your own kit is simple, too. Our system lets you buy as many 4' garden box sections as you need for your project and the corresponding posts. With our modular kits, you can build a box nearly any shape or size as long as you plan it in 4' increments. Once you know what you need to order, simply select the number of sections and posts you need from the selections below and go through the checkout process.

Prior to ordering, it is very helpful to do a layout of your garden box. Draw your layout in 4' increments, putting a post at each junction of your 4' sections. This way you can determine the exact number of sections as well as the quantity and types of posts that you will need.

There are two different post options for our garden boxes: In-Line Posts and Corner Posts. An in-line post would be used when a garden box section is on both sides of the post and a corner post is used at corners.

The above layout is an example of what an 8'x8' L-shaped box would look like. This box requires 8 sections, 6 corner posts, and 2 in-line posts.

Hint: A complete box will always have the same total number of posts as it does sections.
